Suing the DA for excluding victim from the process

I recently filed a lawsuit against the San Mateo County DA’s Office and Probation Department on behalf of Carrie Banks, an enormously courageous victim of sexual violence. These agencies and officials working there excluded her from the prosecution in critical junctures, stripping her of her agency and weakening the case as a result.
