Employment Discrimination

Racial and gender justice at work

Zisser Law represents individuals experiencing harassment, retaliation, and termination because of their sex, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, national origin, ethnicity, religion, or any other “protected status.” Employers have enormous leverage, and it is critical that employees protect their rights.

Moreover, the impact of this type of workplace discrimination can be profound. It can be traumatic, can cause anxiety and worry about finances and future opportunities, and can undermine a person’s self-confidence. Zisser Law can negotiate or review severance agreements, negotiate settlements, and, where necessary, litigate.

Mr. Zisser oversaw discrimination investigations as the director of the civil rights office at a national university. He has also overseen investigations of sworn employees (i.e., police officers) as the director of two city agencies. He understands the processes and procedures involved.

Discrimination in the workplace is no trivial thing. It can have profound and lasting impacts for people.
